AAF Safety Orientation

All AAF users must attend the AAF Safety Orientation session. In this session you will learn:

• Basic Orientation
Workshop and laboratory layout. Learn the accessible, limited-access and restricted zones. Learn about the technical support team and their roles in interacting with users.
• Emergency Procedures
What to do in the event of a fire or injury (general emergency). How to use fire-fighting equipment, and how/when to use it.
• Booking System Tutorial
Learn how to use the booking system to create job requests, and review invoices issued by AAF.
• General Operational Guidelines
Learn the general rules and guidelines of the facility. How to work in the laboratory, etc.
